The Writing Center (Main Site)
The majority of consultants in the Writing Center are instructors. Students taking WRT 331 (Peer Writing Consultant Practicum) will also be available at some point in the fall semester. There are three types of appointments:
1) Face-to-Face: Meet one-on-one with a consultant at the center located on the patio level of HB Crouse. Bring your draft printed out or open on your laptop.
2) Synchronous: Meet online in real time with a consultant where you’ll copy+paste your draft into a shared whiteboard space. You and your consultant will be able to see each other in small video windows.
3) Asynchronous: You will make an appointment, but its end-time is when you will receive your draft back from the consultant. Be sure to follow the submission guidelines.
